About Me

Hey, my name is Anthony. I am a innovative Game Designer & Developer with over seven years of experience in the VR, AR, XR, and Game industries. I leverage my background in UX, Automation, and Project Management to make advancements in the Call of Duty, Onmyoji (阴阳师), and Fortnite franchises. My current work involves developing space simulations for scientific exploration. Check out my timeline of work below for more information about me.

Rochester Institute of Technology

Rochester, New York

My work history starts with my education. At the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) I served as a student ambassador for my program, Interactive Games and Media (IGM). As an IGM Ambassador I often gave presentations for students and families interested in joining the program. In 2017 I graduated with a BS/MS in Game Design & Development with my program being ranked No. 2 according to The Princeton Review.

Epic Games

Cary, North Carolina

At Epic my primary focus was documenting and supporting developers working with the Unreal Engine (UE4). While there I also provided input on two games in development. The first game was Paragon which assets are now free on the Epic Games Store. The second game was Fortnite which took the world by storm. Earning multiple awards and over 350 million registered players.

NetEase Games

Guangzhou, China

This was my first experience working internationally. My core work focused on the Game Interaction Design for a game called Onmyoji (阴阳师) which is one of the most popular games in China today. My favorite contribution to the game was for an infinite sliding door animation that made load times appear to be seamless and replaced the conventional loading screen. Additionally I conducted research, created user interface solutions, workflows, and prototypes for Google VR support of the game.

Immersive Touch Inc.

Chicago, Illinois

As the main Technical Designer for a VR/AR surgery simulation startup, I built many simulations, led a remote team, and designed marketing material to advertise for the company. Using a haptic pen and a VR headset, we were able to develop lifelike simulations that allowed doctors to feel real patient data rendered in 3D space. The haptic feedback provides more opportunities to practice their surgeries without the need of a cadaver.

Magic Leap

Plantation, Florida

At Magic Leap I helped pave the way for what can be achieved with Augmented Reality (AR) technology today. My focus was on the support of new features for the Magic Leap Unreal SDK. I prototyped many projects that demonstrated what a developer could accomplish with the Magic Leap headset.

Infinity Ward

Woodland Hills, California

Previously I worked on Modern Warfare II for the Call of Duty franchise. My day to day tasks involved collaborating with different Activision studios around the world to implement automation processes that saved hours of testing time. Additionally I designed and administered test plans for QA consumption.

SAIC

Remote

Currently I lead the planning and execution of demos for the Space team at SAIC. The high-profile events I present at include: National Space Symposium, AFA Warfare Symposium, I/ITSEC, and AMOS. The goal of my projects is to strike a balance between interaction and science; creating an experience unique for the user.
